At first the animal shaped chicken nuggets and smiley faced fries were cute. My nurse realized that I am indeed an adult so she put in a request for adult lunches for me. When my lunch tray was brought to me today, to my surprise I actually had regularly oblong shaped chicken nuggets and wavy fries. Then I saw a clear container sitting on the side of my tray with a mushy brown substance in side.  I thought it was just apple sauce. I was feeling pretty lucky until I picked it up and read: “Gerber: America’s Most Trusted Baby Food Brand.” REALLY? Baby food? Was this an intentional spite at my adulthood or a careless mistake. Either way, I placed in back in the corner of my tray and left it there. I guess it must be true when my grandparents remind me that  I will always be a baby.

I got a good chuckle out of it, but unfortunately not a full belly. Good thing my mom brought me Dunkin’, because I have munchkins for days!

[…] Those smiley fries were undercooked, but I still ate them and I miss them. I fell for the classic act of deception. […]

Why is nothing green? Plant foods are the most important phytonutrients you should be ingesting!
